State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2019 (Core Agreement)

The government and all parties will now work to develop a certified replacement agreement. Once this process is completed, further information will be published on the proposed agreement and all staff members who will be covered by the agreement will be put to the vote. Negotiations for a replacement agreement for the State Government Certified Agreement 2015 (the basic agreement) between your agency representatives and your union are ongoing. Yesterday, the State government presented legislative amendments to the 2016 Labour Relations Act in order to implement the Prime Minister`s announcement of a «wage freeze» in the 2020/2021 financial year. Civil servants covered by the basic agreement will receive a salary increase of 1.75% as of today. The salary increase is the result of Together`s desire to increase your bonus salaries by 1.75% through the State Wage Case. The nominal expiry date of the basic agreement was 31 August 2018. However, negotiations on the basic agreement between the parties are continuing in good faith. All representatives are actively participating in the negotiations with a view to reaching an agreement in principle by 30 September 2018.
